History: - Reina was very shy during her early elementary years. Being quiet, she was bullied a lot by her classmates and did not have very many friends. She did not know the reason that the other children did this though was because the boys thought she was cute, and the girls were jealous of all the attention Reina got from the boys. This is where her low self-esteem began to take form. Getting poked fun at when so young prevented her from having a very good self-esteem. Her parents worried for their daughter’s future. They tried to give her tips on how to make friends easier, starting with a tip that later became a part of who she is: to smile. She was, on the other hand, a bright and sweet child and the teachers adored her.

She moved schools at the age of nine and her personality had changed drastically. She became outgoing and became the popular student of her school. Her academics, however, went down the drain. It is not that Reina was not trying, the material just became too hard for her to keep up. When searching for what high school she wanted to attend, she came across Kingyo High. She begged her parents to let her go, but at first they were reluctant. They were worried about sending their daughter to a school far from home. Eventually they gave in to Reina’s persistence and gave her permission to apply.

Personality: Reina is a bubbly, outgoing girl who seems to glow with confidence. She is known to have the cutest smile that could melt anyone’s heart. Contrary to her outward appearance, she actually has low self-confidence and is always worried that she did something that may have hurt a person’s feeling or upset the person somehow. The only time she doesn’t care about whether she caused someone to have negative feelings is if she stood up for her beliefs. Although she is usually careful about what she says, if someone is doing something that she thinks is wrong, she will go to them and speak her mind. This trait is another reason why people mistake her for being confident. Reina loves a good laugh and once she finds something funny it is hard for her to stop laughing. She can usually get herself to stop laughing but sometimes, at the most random time possible, she will begin to laugh at the memory of whatever made her laugh before. This is partly the reason why she is also known to be a little odd.
